My soft pastel paintings are usually painted in standard sizes, which allows the client the option of doing their own framing as opposed to custom framing.  However, I can paint in any size desired.  I do not paint portraits or pet portraits smaller than an 8"x10" for a single subject, or 11"x14" for two subjects.

Upon received your commission request, I will give you a quote based on your specific project.  This quote will be valid for 30 days.  I don't change my prices often, but reserve the right to change them without notice.

 

A signed contract and 30% deposit is required before work will begin, and is non-refundable once I start the painting.  You will be emailed a proof of the finished painting for your approval.  Once approved, the remainder is due before work is shipped.  You will be charged the exact amount for shipping, with no handling fees.

 

I accept credit cards through PayPal, as well as personal checks and money orders (although these must clear before work is started or shipped).  Cash works, too.  :)

 

I need the largest digital files you have.  Please don't crop the photo or reduce it to email.  In order to see the detail, I need the highest resolution possible.  Additionally, your photos must be your own or guaranteed free of copyrights.

 

Turnaround is generally 2 weeks to 2 months, depending on my workload. Sometimes it can take as long as 6 months, so please plan ahead.  If you want a painting in time for a certain event, e.g. Christmas, birthdays, etc., please let me know in your initial contact so I can consider my workload and advise on feasibility.

 

I retain copyright on all artwork I create, and have the right to use the image for promotion purposes, reproductions, etc.  Artwork and images may not be used or reproduced without my written permission.
